Our Coche Dare2Fly Center opened in February 2003.
After an initial kiteboarding boom in El Yaque, kiters quickly realized that the very strong winds and rougher waters of El Yaque were not always ideal for kiting. The perfect solution was only a 20 minute boat-ride away on the small island of Coche.

A beautiful Caribbean blue bay with perfect flat water bordered by a wide, incredibly white sandy beach and reliable off-shore winds and perfect flat water create a destination straight out of a kiteboarder's dream.

  



THE DARE2FLY FACILITY
Our Dare2Fly center shares a space with the Vela Windsurf Center that has been on Coche as part of the beautiful Coche Paradise Hotel for 10 years already. The hotel and center are located right in the middle of the 2-mile-wide bay that is now split in two areas. From the hotel beach, go right if you're kiting, go left if you're windsurfing. No room for confusion and although the hotel was originally built to create minimal wind interference, the palm trees are now tall enough to cast a wind shadow that's just big enough to create a clear barrier between the two sports.
